Miguel began his career as an Account Manager before completing his MBA. He then joined Telecel (now Vodafone Portugal) as a Business Analyst before moving to HP as a Product Manager. For the past ten years he has worked in Marketing and Sales for Sonaecom. Miguel also previously held senior roles, having worked in manager and director positions in companies such as Mainroad, Optimus and Praesidium. He joined WeDo Technologies in 2008 where he was Utilities Market Director and has been involved in developing business and projects in both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
Since 2017 he is International Market Director at Bizdirect where he has the responsibility for developing business with partners in Microsoft technologies like Dynamics 365 and SharePoint.
Miguel has a degree in Electrothecnical Engeneering by Instituto Superior Técnico Universidade Técnica de Lisboa and also a MBA by Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
Mike Gillis is a veteran Microsoft Partner having started
his first Microsoft partner firm in 1992. Mikes experience has provided him with
a broad perspective on Microsoft partnership. Mike co-founded startup Microsoft
Partners as an entrepreneur he served as an executive as the companies were acquired
and integrated into large companies and eventually served as operator and intrapreneur
at the large companies acquiring and integrating other Microsoft partner
companies. Mike has been an active member of the Microsoft Dynamics Partner
Channel since 2004 when he co-founded Iteration2 in Irvine, CA. Iteration2 won
its first customer in June 2004 and in 2005 became Microsoft Business Solutions
US Partner of the Year in 2005 and repeated again in 2006. In 2007 Iteration2
was acquired by Hitachi where Mike stayed on to lead Hitachis Dynamics
business eventually becoming President and Global Chief Operating Officer of the
2,300 person global Dynamics business with multiple locations in US, Canada,
UK, Singapore, Thailand, and global development centers in India and
Philippines. While Mike was responsible for Hitachis Dynamics business, Hitachi
was recognized as Microsoft Dynamics CRM Global Partner of the Year (twice),
Microsoft Dynamics AX Global Partner of the Year, the Overall Microsoft Dynamics
Global Partner of the Year, Professional Services Industry Partner of the Year,
